I've been in Texas the last few days for work, but before I left I enjoyed a beautiful Sunday around Cincinnati. One of the perks of my neighborhood is that there's restaurants and bars in walking distance. I met up my good friend Lauren and one of my favorite nearby places Tellers for lunch and a little girl talk. Afterwards I strolled around my neighborhood a bit before meeting up with the girls from Thread Cincinnati.

Ready for Red

While I'm most certainly in a blue phase lately, there's something about a crisp black and red outfit that I am drawn to {evidence here, here and here}. A girl can never have too many black tops and I think a bright pant like this really kicks an outfit up a notch.

Colored pants really become a go-to of mine during the spring and summer. They really don't get their fair share of attention in the winter -- but now that's spring has arrived they are solidly back in the work rotation. 

In the Mood for Indigo

This popover is well on its my to solving all my chambray problems.
Yes, I have a problem with chambray.

Namely that classic button downs just do not work on my body type.
Secondly, light chambray doesn't really work in my office.

But then this indigo popover made it's way into my life -- and well the rest is about to become history.
From work, to drinks, to brunch this little indigo number has seem a lot of mileage lately.
It's dark so it works well with black which I love!
And it's super light weight so it should work well into summer.

Here's to a glorious relationship! 

Tweedle Dee

This outfit is pretty much my jam lately. This tee is practically my new best friend. And this blazer, well, it's pretty fantastic too. I've worn this look to work, a business trip, and recently to Keeneland. When I find that outfit that works, I tend to wear and repeat it often.

And this outfit is definitely on heavy rotation!
