Last but not least, it’s time for Casual Friday. I’ll be honest, jeans don’t usually fly at my office {silly corporate rules}, but on rare occasion jeans get their day in the sun cubicle. Tucking in the tee creates a nice blouse-y feel and adding a blazer finishes off the outfit with a bit of office pizazz.

If jeans don't fly in your office, rock this outfit on the weekend. If the blazer is too work mode for you on a Saturday or Sunday, switch it out for a long boyfriend cardigan and add brown boots.

Who said graphic tees can't be office appropriate?

While I've been known to push the business casual style line an inch or two, the addition of a blazer and pencil skirt really polish this graphic tee up {if I do say so myself}. If you work in a traditional office environment, this may not fly, but if you're in a business casual office like me this is a fun twist on office appropriate separates.

If you're in a creative office, switch out the wedges for black booties for a little more edginess. This look would be great for days when you're leaving the office and heading straight to dinner or drinks with friends.
You can even ditch the blazer if you're feeling so bold.

Stay tuned for the 3rd and last installment in the Graphic Tee Series -- Casual Friday!

Tee: Madewell • Dress: LOFT• Vest: TJ Max • Purse: Old Navy  Shoes: Madewell

Today's post is the first of 3 that will feature this Madewell Champs-Elysees tee. If you've been reading the blog for a while, it won't come as a surprise how much I love Madewell. The mix of feminine and tomboy styles fit my personal style like a glove. And the fact that I can find pieces for work and play just make the store all the more better in my book.

But let's talk about this tee. I've been slow to jump on the graphic tee bandwagon, but, being the francophile I am, this tee caught my eye. The vintage looking print + the super soft fabric had me seriously interested. The icing on the cake was seeing the 3 Madewell girls all sporting it in their own very distinct and stylish ways. Not only did I go home with a comfy graphic tee, I had a fun idea for the blog -- 1 Tee, 3 Ways.

Today's look is my take on a flirty tomboy style. I layered the tee over a simple black dress, tied it in the back to give it a top + skirt feel, and added my green utility vest to pull it together. Perfect for a surprisingly warm fall day. Go from brunch with friends to running errands without missing a stylish beat.

Well it's official...

I'm on the vest train and there's no turning back! After hem and hawing on this sleeveless trench for month {which for me felt like an eternity} I caught a 60% off sale that I couldn't resist. Thanks to Ann Taylor for continuing to have deals that are just too good to refuse. If the last 2 weeks are any indication, I have a feeling this piece will be seeing lots of love this fall.

Maybe I'm easily swayed or fall love in {apparel} love too quickly, but this vest. I think it's the one....

Yeah I was bound to use that as a blog post title sooner or later. Turns out it was sooner. But yep, it's sweater weather and I'm loving it. It's basically appropriate to wear clothes and scarves that double as blankets. If I can get away with this much comfort and still look the least bit stylish I'm sold.

Which boils down to the fact that this sweater is going to see a lot of attention this fall/winter. I love the asymmetrical cut and slouchy fit. And if I am feeling extra daring I can expose a shoulder. Daring, I know! But yeah this blanket sweater and I will be good friends this next few months.
